About
Annie Mayer (she/her/hers) is a theatre artist, born and currently based in Louisville, KY and graduate of Xavier University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, with minors in Film Production and Entrepreneurship. She closed her college career acting under with two-time Tony Award-winner Ed Stern and Tony-nominated actress Pam Myers, as well as workshopping a new work written by Caroline V. McGraw, in collaboration with Fault Line Theatre (New York). When not onstage, Annie worked as a seamstress in Xavier's costume shop, as well as running the department's recruitment team. Following graduation, she moved to Orlando, FL to work as an entertainment costuming hostess at Walt Disney World, as part of the Disney College Program. There, she worked on parades at the Magic Kingdom, as well as Christmas offerings and after-hours events. In March of 2020, she relocated back to Louisville.


Since returning home, she has worked consistently as an actor, wardrobe technician, stage manager, choreographer, fight captain/choreographer, and more. She has worked offstage with Actors Theatre of Louisville, Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, the Kentucky Opera, Derby Dinner Playhouse, and PATH Theatre Company. Likewise, she has been seen onstage with three witches shakespeare, Louisville Hive Mind Collective (LouHive), Mind's Eye Theatre Company, Looking for Lilith, This Bridge Theatre, Pandora Productions, and Bunbury Theatre. When she isn't working in the theatre, she is in a harness with ZFX Flying as a training flyer, a traveling educator for the Kentucky Science Center, and is the student enrollment coordinator for the Louisville Youth Orchestra.
